New Moray caravan park could be built

Tourer caravan insurance policyholders who enjoy spending time in Scotland may be interested to hear a new Moray caravan park could be established at Tommore Mill, near Ballindalloch.
The Ballindalloch Trust has applied to the local council for permission to provide space for 28 holiday homes, with members of the body meeting tomorrow (November 30th) to consider the proposals, the Press and Journal reveals.
A report has recommended, however, that the development only be open 11 months of the year and that the planning and regulatory services committee approves the move as long as the site is only used for holiday purposes.
If given the go-ahead, the resort would be considered major, because it will be larger than five acres.
Elsewhere, Port Haverigg Holiday Village in the north of England is to be expanded as part of a £2 million project that will see 100 static caravan, 30 tourer and 30 camping pitches added, the News & Star recently reported.
