A relatively new caravan manufacturer that was established during the recession has proved that it is Victory by name and victory by nature, after it announced that it will be relocating to a larger factory after outgrowing its original home.

Victory Leisure Homes, which was founded back in April 2009 in Hull, went from 32 employees and six models on the market to over 80 people and 17 different models of static caravans, alongside six varieties of twin-unit lodges. Offering a lot of choice for caravan insurance customers, the company is now hoping to give even more to customers following its relocation to the former home of Britspace.

Peter Nevitt, managing director of Victory, told the Hull Daily Mail that the company was looking for alternatives to its Stoneferry home and was even mulling the idea of creating a purpose-built factory before its site came to market.

He said of the business: "Because of our size, we have been able to ask our customers what they want and then deliver. We can adapt when required and, because we are not a volume manufacturer, we can give the edge on quality and service. For example, we had always intended to develop into the lodge market, but that happened 18 months ahead of our plans after a customer asked us to build him one."
