Hull caravan manufacturer secures biggest market share ever

A caravan manufacturer in East Riding of Yorkshire is extremely happy to announce that after a great trading period in 2011, it was able to secure the largest share of the UK market in its 25 years in the market.

Coachman Caravans revealed to the Hull Daily Mail that it has registered a large increase in sales, as more people look to secure a motorhome and caravan insurance. Coachman was particularly able to cater to this audience, releasing new models across its UK dealer network.

Jim Hibbs, the director of the company, is an entrepreneur that looks to take after one of the UK's most famous businessmen: Sir James Dyson. Explaining this inspiration, he told the press: "I read an article in which James Dyson said that, in difficult times, companies should invest in their products.

"He was speaking in terms of British manufacturing and said that the way to success was to invest in products. So that is what we did. We began investing in a new range in 2010 and these were launched at the Rudstone Walk Trade Show, in July last year. Since then, we have never looked back."

New models included updates for the Laser, VIP and Pastiche ranges, as well as a major redesign of its ever-popular Amara range.
