Lunar Caravans fans rejoice: the company has revealed the details of its all-new Venus brand, which is to be unveiled at the London Excel Centre on February 14th. Caravan Times reported that the new range, which will be offered in four different single-axle layouts and at weights as little as 905kg, will make it the perfect miniature option that could be towed by nearly any car on the road today.
The news outlet was keen, in particular, to address the Venus range's underfloor heating system and rapid warm-up water heater, which are fitted as standard to the flagship and successful Elddis Xplore range. Meanwhile, in the kitchen offers a three-burner gas hob as well as a conventional combination oven/grill made by Thetford.
Each caravan is also fitted as standard with top-of-the-range food storage facilities in the form of a Dometic fridge with a full-width freezer section, meaning there is plenty of room for supplies for longer trips. However, the Caravan Times was keen to stress that a microwave may not be part of the package, as it was not listed under the model's specifications.
Nonetheless, the report was still positive about the overall presentation of the Venus range. "The classic exterior design is just what we have come to expect from Lunar, while the interior boasts an impressive level of specification for such an affordable price," it said.
