Fiat to debut Euro 5 at top caravan show

Fiat Professional is showcasing its new Ducato Euro 5 as a prominent feature at the company's stand at the Motorhome, Caravan & Camping Show 2012 at ExCeL London. Taking place between February 14th and 19th, the event will be the biggest showcase of its kind to take place in London for half a decade.

Every leading UK and European motorhome manufacturer will show off their best wares for the new 2012 season models and many have been purposefully based on the Ducato chassis. As the most popular chassis on the market, it's hardly a surprise - three out of every four motorhomes in European circulation uses this platform for movement.

Fiat Professional is going to demonstrate its Ducato 3.0 litre 180bhp chassis cab with an extra-long wheelbase. This will also be equipped with a Comfort-Matic gearbox, alongside displays of the new gearbox and Euro 5 Engine. Caravan insurance customers will also get the chance to grab more information on the range when they visit, as well as speak to experts from the organisation.

Since 1981, the Ducato range has sold over 2.2 million vehicles. Fiat explained: "The key to this success lies in Ducato's ability to answer the specific requests of its customers, thanks to solid and dynamic design in combination with its functional dimensions."
