1. The Warren, Folkestone, Kent

First on the list, this beautiful campsite is a short drive from the Channel Tunnel, making it perfect for an overnight stop if you're headed into mainland Europe. The site has plenty to offer for longer stays too, with a stunning ocean view from its nestled site atop Folkestone's striking white cliffs. This also means it's only a short walk to the beach - perfect for holidays with the kids!

2. Camping de I'lle des Trois Rois, Les Andelys, Normandy

This lovely, peaceful French campsite is overlooked by the ruined Chateau Gaillard, which was built by Richard the Lionheart in the 12th Century. This site is renowned for its gorgeous views of mountain scenery and situation overlooking Lake Garda. Camping Fornella has its own pool, and direct access to the beach.
